What do you guys think of the name Francesca? It's my middle name, and probably my favourite name of all time. That being said, I would never use it on a child, considering I'm not one to name a child after myself.
I really like the meaning, also; Free.

I really like the name Francesca, even though, for some reason, it never became a HUGE favourite of mine. I know a little Francesca nicknamed Chase, though, which suits her perfectly and I think is so cute.

I love it! I don't thin giving a child you mn as a first name is naming it after yourself.

My middle name is Cory and I've often considered naming a son that. And my first daughter will have my first name as her middle name (Catherine).

Francesca is my middle name too, and I love it, especially with my first name (Anna).

I was named after my mother, actually - her name is Ann Frances. My great grandmother gave me the Italian version of her name.

One of my best friends from high school is Francesca so I have a good association with it. I've always thought it was pretty though. My friend's sister is Marcella. I think together they have a great set of sister names!

I like it a lot, but I don't like any of the names that it's n9icknames too.. & i dont know any Francesca's who are still called Francesca. It's always Frankie (love on a boy though) Franks, Chessy or even Franny.. which is gross
