When I saw Edie the first thing I thought of was the show Absolutely Fabulous. :P Though Edina's nickname was spelled "Eddy".

Aww, I love Edith nn Edie! The only other ones I can think of are Edwige, Benedicte, Wilfreda, Jedidah, Alfreda, Elfreda, Theodora, and a bit of a stretch, but maybe Frederique, Frederika, or Meredith?
