I thought they had misspelled her name, Cyndie or something, but, no, it's pronounced as Sydney.

When I was younger my best friend at the time's name was Cydnie. I always thought it was cute.

ugh. I never liked Sydney for a girl - it's just so unfeminine sounding, but to butcher the spelling of an already terrible name....
