A woman was on the bus with her two young children, and since people on the bus are nosy, they got both names out of her. The two-year-old boy was Alex, and his older sister was Kelty Marie. One of the guys who asked kept thinking that she was saying Kelsey, so eventually she had to spell it out for him.

kelty makes me think sheltie which leads me to think dog... so, not a fan of kelty, but okay. i LOVE Alex, i was hoping we'd be naming our boy that, but my hubby wasnt 100%, so we got a name that was. Marie always works, but it's just sooooooooooooooooo ridiculously popular.

Kelty--how do I put this--almost sounds like a made-up derogatory term for someone of Celtic ancestry. But hey, I do like her middle name since that's my middle name too! Alex is nice, also.
