(no subject)
Jun. 23rd, 2006 10:25 amUgh. Yes, some post are annoying to me as well. But you know what gets on my nerves even more? The posts following them whining about it. It happens with every trend of related posts we have. I'm tired of it. There's no need to complain and whine about every little post your eyes glaze over if you're not particularly interested in it. I honestly don't get it. You guys are offended you have to spend .4 extra seconds to scroll past it, and therefore write out these big long time consuming entries regarding it? Not all of them interest me either, but should I just go and tell people to not post it? It's on topic, it's all relative, that's what this community is about. I'm not going to start enforcing time limits on subjects, that's asinine. This has grown to be a very large community (yay!), and that means we have a wide variety of posts and posters. If you don't like reading about one thing, calmly scroll PAST IT, no doubt you will find something that interests you more at some point. Just don't write rude posts complaining about people discussing baby names just because they aren't discussing them the way YOU want. Just scroll through. Now, for the other half of the issue, I will ask that you guys try and combine the redundant posts. If someone posts about family names and you're really interested in discussing that, great! Maybe post it in the form of a comment to the original post? This may be more list-friendly for all of us. I really don't want to see all these discussions stop, but I can see how maybe 4 or 5 posts about the same thing in a row can get a little spammy. So there, now everyone can be happy. No more whining, and less spam. Deal?
Deal.
Deal.
