It's a girl for Ellen Pompeo!

The Grey's Anatomy star, 39, welcomed a daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, on Sept. 15 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple – who wed in 2007 – announced the pregnancy in April.

There's been quite the baby boom on the Grey's set – costar Katherine Heigl recently adopted a daughter, 10-month-old Naleigh, while Chyler Leigh is also a new mom to daughter Anniston Kae, 4 months.

Stella Luna is kind of annoying, since it means "Star Moon" in italian.

Naleigh is hideous and Anniston sounds tragically made up, but I like the sound of Anniston Kae.

I thought that I sort of liked Luna, in theory, but now that I've seen it in practice, I don't like it. Stella is getting really popular, not that I liked it to begin with. It's just not my style.

I'm not sure whether Naleigh is actually Naleigh or if it's Nancy Leigh and that's just what they call her, because I've seen reports for both.

i think stella luna is really pretty, i love it. i am pretty sure ellen pompeo is right around my age (i think she might be a little older than me actually) and i have never heard of the book, so i think its safe to say its a generational thing.

Anniston is autrocious and completely made up. Even Jennifer Aniston's last name is made up. It's like a fake name on top of a fake name. I hope she goes by Ann when she grows up.

Naleigh is very white trash.

And Stella Luna (bat book aside) sounds like the name of a little out of the way Italian restaurant that gets rave reviews but you have to bring your own booze.

Compared to the other 2 new arrivals on that set, I'd say Stella Luna is a big improvement. I'm not a huge fan of the alliteration of the ending sounds, but I love the name Luna.

Naleigh is, of course, an abomination, and not even pretty. Anniston is a town in Alabama, maybe that's what they were going for?
