I know two siblings named Robeson (Robey) and Sojourner. Just curious on what you guys think.

Robeson is names after Paul Robeson -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Robeson

Sojourner was named after this woman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sojourner_Truth

If you dont want to read all that, they are named after two activists who fought mainly against racism, among other things.Even if you don't like the sound of the names at least they're not thoughtless..

I wrote my first college essay paper on Sojourner Truth and got an 'A' so I feel a connection to that name lol Robe sounds like a masculine name, and I think it's fitting for a handsome little boy. I like both names, but I think they're even more awesome because they have special meaning to the parents :)

Haha, Im not sure if you are saying Robe just like a bath Robe. His nickname is Robey. Robe-ee. He is a handomse little boy though! :)

Thats cool you did a paper on Sojourner. I do beleive that is how is mom really became familiar with the name. She was going to do a paper on another activist but someone in her University class took it. She 'settled' for writing on Sojourner Truth and now obviously she thinks its awesome.

I think those are cool names (and sound a lot better than Nelson and Winnie, the twins from the Cosby show).

Yeah, with Sojourners (the babies) parents she probably will be amazing!
AND
Shes already fought through 4 months of life (she was very premature) in the hospital the whole time. And shes still there. It wasnt expecting she would survive. SO, Shes got a good start on fighting for her own life.. and maybe others?

Hahaha, my logic so doesn't really add up, but I can still hope she'll be an awesome person!
