WDYT?

Austyn

I work with him. He's 20 years old.

EDIT: Natacha (prn. Natasha)

In both cases I would have stuck with traditional spelling unless it was a family name.

this girl I know has a one year old or something named austyn. it makes me sadface, and irritates firefox's spell check.

Austin, yes. Austyn, no.

Hideous. I hate names that aren't traditionally spelt.

I don't like either spelling. Natacha probably bothers me more because I'm a Natasha.

For the most part I don't mind alternate spellings, but when it's obvious they're doing it to be different, it's extremely annoying. People need to realize that their child will be unique on their own, they don't need a name to stand out to be different or cool or whatever; it only causes a life time of having to correct EVERYONE on the spelling of your name.

A former co-worker of mine has a 6 month old sister named Austyn. I hate the name on a girl, no matter what the spelling. I like the name Austin for a boy, as long as it's spelled correctly.

Clearly Austyn's parents were ahead of their time...
