(no subject)

Norah Claire
Norah Adelle
Norah Rose

(Rose is a family name, not just filler)

WDYT?

I think Norah Claire flows best. Norah Rose has too much R sound too close together, and Norah Adelle, with the A-ending-meets-A-beginning, is difficult to say. Family names are important, though, so if you want to use Rose, that wouldn't be awful. I just think Claire sounds better.

I'm in this boat. Norah is one of my top girl names, but my last name begins with R.

Depending on what the second letter of your last name is, it might still work. For instance, Norah Reese or Norah Rhodes can still work, whereas Norah Russell really doesn't. It's the doubled "ruh" that becomes the problem.

Okay, you had me confused for a minute there. It's Skittles who has the R last name and you're the one debating middle names. Okay. Yeah, of course Norah Crosbie sounds fine.

Is the traditional spelling Adele? If so I actually like all of these.

Norah Rose > Norah Adele > Norah Claire

However I agree that Norah Claire flows the best.

Norah Claire would be my first choice. I agree with pegasus2o5 about Adelle. Rose is nice too.

I like Norah Adelle the most, but I'd say Norah Rose since it's a family name.

I like Norah Claire and Norah Rose. Norah Adelle just seems...awkward to pronounce, due to the first name ending and middle name beginning having the same vowel sound.

I like Norah Claire the most.

Norah Adelle is cute. I really like Adelle.

I like Norah Claire, I think that one sounds best. I also like Rose, but Norah Rose doesn't really flow because of the double 'r' sound, in my opinion...and I'm just not a fan of Adelle at all.

Great names! Nora(h) and Adele are two of my favs.

I think Norah Claire flows best of these three.

I love the feel of Norah Rose, but Norah Claire is really the only one that works. Adelle and Rose run right into the end of Norah, unfortunately. I LOVE Norah, by the way, even though I prefer it as a nn and without the h.

I love Norah Claire. Claire is one of my favorite names, and I think it flows the best with Norah. Norah Rose has too much R sound, and Norah Adelle is hard to say because the A sounds run into each other.

I like the latter two best; dislike Norah Claire.

Norah Rose

Norah Claire > Norah Rose > Norah Adele
