wow, are your cousins with Gaelic names babies? I can't imagine someone in my age group being named Aoibheann

yeah, Aoibheann is 1, Eoghan is almost 3, and the other Eoin is about 5.
But they live in Ireland (im in England) so everyone over there is used to it lol.

ah, see that makes a little bit more sense. i live in the U.S. and there was a girl at my school named....oh geez let me take a stab at this Caoilifynn ? [kee-lin] her mom was originally from Ireland but to have a typically spelled Irish name in the U.S. is quite rare!

Caoilfhionn? Yeah, i don't like some of the gaelic spellings just because they get mispronounced a lot. Eoin though, i really like this name spelt like this, i don't think i could ever use it though because i know it would always be getting mispronounced
