Aunts: Vicky, Mary Agnes (Merrily), Judith (Judi), Mary Celeste why would you name two kids Mary? ACK!

They didnt name them both mary one is mary agnes and one is mary celeste. My familiy has a ton of that. Is your family Catholic by chance?

My grandmother's favorite name was Mary, but back in the 40s I guess that name was ONLY for Catholics (my family is Lutheran) so she always felt she couldn't use it (the Lutherans would not appreciate it). But when my mom was born, she was kind of an accident, the baby of the family, and my Grandma basically thought "This is my last chance, I'm naming her Mary."

And then she also let my uncle John go in Boy Scouts, so I guess the Lutherans in town thought they all were going to hell.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my hardcore Catholic family has more than it's fair share of Mary's as well... my grandmother, for one.

Wasnt the Mary Celeste a tudor ship that sank? Or the ghost ship? One was defeintly the Mary Rose- lol sorry ive confused myself here!
