I love it as a nickname for Eleanor. I think I prefer Nora as a nickname and Norah if you were using it as a full name. With the H, it seems more complete.
I prefer Norah, but that's just because Norah has been my favourite name since I was about eleven and I read it in a book, and of course it was spelled like that. The h is kind of superfluous, probably inspired by names like Hannah and Sarah, even though the origin is totally different, so I guess Nora would be the more 'correct' spelling... but I still like Norah best.
