I usually like girl names that have the -ah ending sound (which is funny cause our girl name ends with -et, but hubby did turn down all my -ah names). And there are so many pretty ones, why take Morgan, and stick an A on it? The rest are pretty. Ava was one of my girl choices. And I've never heard of Lyla, but it reminds me of another choice, Leila.
Took me a second to get the matchy theme, there. Before that, I was just thinking about how Morgana sounds like a demon, or something. I don't like any of the names individually, but other than Ava being really popular, they're not that bad, I guess.
I actually like Morgana as it is spelled right and well a name... and I am not sure if the family was hispanic but the name Morgan in Spanish is Morgana.
Ava, Clara and Lyla are pretty too, I would have spelled it Lila though. Actually... did you see if they were Hispanic or had any of that in them? These names can be used in both English and Spanish and they'd be perfectly acceptable, albeit a little odd but perfectly fine.
Loveeee Rhiannon (which is in my top 5 at the moment and has been for a while) and Elowen! I am adding that to my list since my mom and I both have E middle names (Elena and Eloisa) and I might want to keep that theme going.
they might have been a little hispanic, but it wasn't obvious, i too like the names, just thought they were a bit matchy =]. and on lila/lyla, i know someone spelt lyla, so thats just how i spell it lol.
lol it's alright, not everyone gets I am Hispanic just by looking or hearing me (English is actually nearly my first language). Lila is actually the spanish word for Lilac (the colour) thus why I said I'd spell it like so. Though Lyla is not bad I was just wondering ;)
I see what you mean about the matching though but it'¡s not that bad as other names I have seen with the matchy and I was just glad the spellings were all correct T.T
Morgana sounds weird to me because my partner is named Morgan and it just seems like trying too hard I guess. I don't know if I'd feel that way if I didn't hear the name Morgan 50x a day, everyday of my life, though.
Morgan is actually a unisex name, and almost anyone I've heard of named Morgan is a girl - except for one, but its not actually his given name, so... nix that :P
