Found this on one of the news boards in my office building. I don't know if it's a male or a female.

I knew a Kelen growing up (I'm 29, he was about 3-4 years younger) and he was a guy. I've never heard it since, though.

I have known both. The different genders had different spellings though; Kelen (boy) and Kellan (girl).
