A new (mis) spelling for you-

Halei

Instead of Haley, I'm assuming. I do not like it. Thoughts?

I don't like it. (But I don't like Haley either. I prefer Hayley.)

No.
Hawai'i came to mind with that spelling.

I would actually think it was instead of Haleh, because I don't know anybody who would look at 'lei' and pronounce it as 'lee'.

I do, actually. I know that when it comes to a Hawaiian lei, it's pronounced "lay", but in names I see lei and thing "lee".

It looks very, very wrong to me.

I'm assuming that it's short for Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Hawaii. My cousin's dog is named that (pronounced like Halley-ava) and they call her Halei (pronounced Halley as in Halle Berry) for short. I think it's kinda cute.
