I'm not religious, but very into etymology. Noel actually means Day of Birth. It was used in Ecclesiastes to talk about the day of birth of Christ, and now we have that it means Christmas. Grrr.

I am an Erin! I am Erin Victoria, which I think works really well. From what you listed, I like Erin Noelle.

I would not use Erin Aurora or anything else that runs into Erin like that. It's a (surprisingly) difficult name to understand over the phone (I get Anne all. the. time) and I think a middle name that sounds similar makes that problem worse. And thank you for spelling it properly...you wouldn't believe how people try to spell my name (Aeron, Aaron, Aerin).

If SO has his fathers first name as his middle name (Thomas), why not continue the tradition and give your baby (if it's a boy) your SO's name as his middle name?

That's what we're doing (for a boy) because my husband has his Dad's name as his MN (incidentally it is also Thomas) and his dad has his grandfather's first name as his MN (Walter)...so we're planning to use my husband's name as a MN (Matthew) - it also happens to be my brother's name, so we can do a double tribute.

I like Erin Lisette and Erin Serena.

The Dustin ones are hard for me because I don't love Dustin. But I like Dustin William ok (William is my dad's name too- looks like we have weird coincidences in our family/SO's family names)
