I have a two-part question for y'all.

1) What is your name?

2) What nicknames do you have that are somehow related to your name?

I'm Samantha, and I have four nicknames. the first two are obvious -- Sam and Sammy.
my third nickname is "Sammymantha"...my uncle started calling me that when I was a baby. it stuck. it's kind of cute, but I would murder anyone outside of my family who used it.
and finally, my mom used to call me "Miss Samantha" when I was in a bad mood when I hit my teenage years (which was quite often, hah) and it eventually got shortened to "Missantha". I actually love this one.

My name is Amy. *points to icon* And I have no nickname since i dont like the name Ames for a nn. It's saddens me cus I love nicknames.

I call my sister "Aim" sometimes, but my friends named Amy get nicknames like Amykins or AmyLou. Basically, something longer than just Amy.

Lauren
Some of my really good friends call me Lo, and then that sometimes gets multiplied into Lo-Lo. But that's really it.

My name is Megan. The only nickname I really have that's related to my name is Meggo, which is what my best friend calls me occasionally. I hate Meg, so I won't let anyone call me that. My dad used to call me Megs/Megster, but he passed away.

I'm a Megan, too, and I hate being called Meg! I swore I was the only one.

I also go by Meggs, Megatron, Miss Eggs, MissMeggs, and Meggers.
I'll also answer to Tron and Kim, but Kim is a long story.

I'm a Louise, and I go by Weezie to my close friends, "Lou's" by my dad and occasionally "Lou" by some other people. That's about it.

I'm Jordan and I have a ton of nicknames. Different friends call me different things everything from Jordy/Jordi, Jords, Jord, Jordo, Dan. I also get J or JJ (cause of my middle name).

Funnily enough aside from family members I was always called Jordan growing up (until I decided to be Jordi in hs - but it didn't stick) but then I moved to a bigger city and suddenly my name is being shortened all over the place! I pretty much answer to any variation but I get pissed when people introduce me as Jordy/Jordi. It sounds like a 4 year old's name to me.

well my name is Aubrey, i get called bree some... but honestly most my real life friends call me by my middle name kaitlyn, which ocassionally gets shortened to Kait. but most of my nick names have nothing to do with any of my names...

My name is Brittney and I have a variety of nicknames

Bit, Bit Bit, Britt, Bee, Briya, Bitty are just some of them.

I'm Erika, and the only real nickname I've got is Eka. My family uses it (started as Eka Pikachu, then became Ekachu, and then just got shortened to Eka).

Online my main username/handle is Aeiouna (I made it up, JSYK) therefore I've been called Aei quite a few times.

Natalie. Though I only really get called Nat, save for one guy on our touch footy team who calls me Nattie.

(Cady = paternal grandmother's maiden name, Beatrice = maternal grandmother's first name)

So I got Cady Bea, Beans, Beansy-girl, Beatlejuice, etc. And it has nothing to do with my name, but my first word was "monkey," so I got Monkey Girl. *eyeroll* :)

2) Linds, Lin, Linzer, Lindsay Becky, and my two best friends call me "Ay" because one of them is named LindsEY. She is called "Ey."

2. Les, Lez, Leelee (no one has really used Lee yet, my dad calls Lee accidentally that when he gets my name confused with his sister Lisa but it's not a "real" nick name.), Les-ul, and for a while Lezbo (which I hated and convinced my boyfriend to stop calling me, now it's just Bo)

I'm Briana. Mostly I go by my full name, but I am also called Bri, Breezy, Breezly, Brinana

Katherine

Kate and Kat. I don't really like Kat but people I went to high school with still insist on calling me that.

i'm anna, so i get "anna banana" a lot. (well used to, growing up.)
my sister is 7 years older than me and when I was 15, she had her first child and then i was called "auntie banana" for a little while haha :)

2. Since I'm Russian and my Russian name is Ulya, my family calls me Ulychka as a nn. Otherwise, sometimes people call me Jules. My mama also has a bazillion nicknames for me in Russian. They're cute in Russian, but sound weird in English haha. Some are Myxa (fly) and Tetya (lady).

I'm Jessica: Jess, Jessy (and all spelling variations), but the one I like the most is Kessica

I was born Kathleen, but from day one I've been called Katie. Other nicknames (some still used, some no longer): Kate, Katesie, Katie Poo, Kit Kat, Kat, Katie Bear, Katiekins, Katydid. I think my name's just one of those that naturally has a lot of nickname options.

Alison.

My most-used nickname is Ali. My family and all of my friends regularly called me Ali, until I went to a different high school, and no one there called me by any nicknames at all. One guy decided it would be hilarious to start calling me 'Ali' all the time, thinking it would annoy me, and kept thinking that, even when I told him over and over again that I didn't mind 'Ali' and that plenty of people used to call me that and still call me that to this day...

i'm Jordan Elizabeth, my nicknames are Jordie, Jordo, J, J-Lo, Liz, Jessie (because my initials are JES)

My name is Julianne. A lot of my coworkers call me Jules. My online friends call me JJ or Juianne (The latter being from a drunken typo on my part :P) My sister calls me Jul. I love nicknames, so I'm happy to be called those; growing up, everyone just called me Julianne, and I always wanted a nickname.

Malory Danne

My grandmother has called me Malley Danne since I was born. My friends call me Mal, Mal-Mal, Mallow, Mo, and Ma-LOR-ee (they just put the emphasis on the wrong syllable. It's funny when people hear it in public and think that's my name.)

Monica Eloisa

I have had so many nicknames... the oldest one was Mamina but that was what my older brother mostly called me. Lately I get called Mona Lisa by my mom which I happen to love and my sister calls me mostly Moni but most notoriously is Moon, like the... uh moon. Comes from English speakers trying to say Moni like in Spanish and it eventually turned into Moony and that turned into Moon which my friends that speak French turned into Lune.

My grandpa calls me Eloisa to distinguish me from my mom who is also Monica but she gets called Elena (her middle name).
