I like all the names in your favorites except for Addison. Nothing in particular I don't like about the name, its just too popular for my taste. Otherwise you have a great list of favorites imo.

& the name Orilya automatically makes me think of internet lingoz like "ORLY?" and I just can't get past that.

That was exactly my first thought, too.

I was subbing a couple years ago and had a student whose full first name was Orly, pronounced Or-lee. It took every ounce of self-control I could muster up every time I called on him to not be all "ORLY?!"

How on earth does Kahli = Carly/Carlie?

Did you miss a letter when you typed that because I'm missing an R somewhere in Kahli?

We don't pronounce the R in Australia :) Heaps of people spell Carly as Kahlee etc, and Taylor = Tayla.... etc.

Yeah, I remember a British girl saying that her name, Sian, was pronounced like "Sharn". And of course I (an American in the UK) tried to tell her maybe she'd be best off describing it as "Shann" to this community, since Americans and Canadians would be saying her name REALLY incorrectly.

"Oh, okay!" was essentially her response... and then a month or so later she AGAIN described her name as sounding like Sharn. Ah, well. I tried.

Of your current type 5s, I like Asher, Christopher, Isabel, Georgiana (I -really- like this name right now...for some reason), and Lucy. I used to really like Addison.

Kahli- is Carly? Where's the R?
Orilya- ORLY, lol! XD
Carlton- Makes me think of Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. ^^

I also love Kenneth, Christopher, Robin, Lucy, and Zoe.

As a Karlie, I am disgusted by "Kahli". I know Australians don't pronounce the R, but still, UGH!

Deborah is refreshing on a baby.

Hooray for Addison for boys! I hate it on girls. I like your top 5s. :)

Also I can't help but think "Orilya" = O RLY? YA RLY!

I love Georgiana and Millicent from your list, and I like Robin and Isabel too.

From the other list I only like Deborah and Ellis.

Ugh, Orilya is terrible. As I've said before, if there's one thing I hate more than a misspelled common name, it's a misspelled uncommon name.

I love Zoe and Ellis and I like Lucy and Millicent.

I don't think even a bogan would use Orilya. I seriously don't know what that is. I want to say 'Oral-ya' and that's just wrong.

Current top 5 for each:

Asher - I like it
Kenneth (Kenny) - WAY too many bad associations, I don't think I've ever known a nice Kenny.
Christopher - Like it.
Addison - On a boy? Don't like this name, too much Gray's Anatomy for me.
Robin - like it.

Isabel - like it much more than isabella.
Georgiana -don't like it. I don't usually like girlified names made from boys names.
Lucy - like it.
Zoe - like it.
Millicent (Milly) - like Milly, hate Millicent - sounds like an old witch.

Some people who had babies recently:
Rachael - like it.
baby girl, Kahli (pronounced like Carlie/Carly) - weird that you don't pronounce the r's.
little boy with wild blonde hair, Jazz - cute
Rhyanna - don't like it in any spelling.
Carlton (Daddy an AFL supporter?) - reminds me of "Fresh Prince of Bel Aire"
Deborah - like it, but know a lot of older Debbies.
Ayris - I like it if the R is pronounced (Air-is, not Ay-is)
Ellis - Island? its alright.
Kenyon - don't like it.
Clyde - don't like it, reminds me of a horse.
And a baddie I saw today... a little girl "Orilya" (I presume it's Aussie Bogan for Aurelia) - wow the spelling is certainly "interesting"

Australians and most British people pronounce the R only if it's followed by a vowel (or an H, I guess). So yeah, it'd be Air-is.

But for names like Carter, for example, it would be KAH-tuh, since neither R is followed by a vowel.
