A league of their own

I'm a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and since today was Father's Day, we got to see the dads hanging out with their kids.
I was curious and looked up some of the players and their families and made a list of names.

I organized them by position. 


Pitchers
Chris Carpenter- wife is Alyson and has a son, Sam, and daughter, Ava Janet
Jason Isringhausen- wife is Lorrie and has a daughter named Madolyn Eileen
Jason Marquis- wife is Debbie and has a daughter named Reese Madison
Braden Looper- wife is Shannon and daughter, Toryn Hope, and son, Braden Landen

Catchers
Gary Bennett- wife is Ruby and they have two sons, Garrison and Gavin
Yadier Molina- no wife or kids but he has two brothers in the league, Bengie and Jose Molina.

Infielders
Aaron Miles- wife is Nicole and they have a daughter, Nicole Dakota
Jose Alberto Pujols aka Albert Pujols- wife is Deidre and they have Sophia, Isabella (nn Bella), and a son known as A.J., or Alberto, Jr.
Scott Rolen- wife is Niki and they have a daughter, Raine Tyler
Scott Spiezio- wife is Jenn and has two sons, Tyler and Cody, and a daughter, Tessa

Outfielders
Jim Edmonds- unsure of his wife's name but he has two daughters, Lauren and Hayley, and a new son, Landon
Juan Encarnacion- son is Adrian
So Taguchi- wife is Emiko and their son is Kan.

Does playing a certain position mean better baby names? How would your Cardinals baby scorecard look?

Madolyn is the stupidest spelling ever! & Braden Landon is also stupid, as i thought it was Branden Landon at first. duuhh.

Branden Landon was the name of my brother's cabbage patch doll he kept with him till age 8. I thought that was the name and then realized it was Braden and thought that was worse.

I really like the name Garrison! It means something to do with a protected city or something like that. I think it sounds very newscasteresque.

A garrison is a permanent military installation where troops are stationed, not a name.
