a few interesting names i've come across in my work:

Chrystella

Zsuzsanna (pronounced like Susanna, only with a few z's thrown in for looks)

Doniece (pronounced like Denise)

& (my personal fav for most peculiar)  Lilian Kilian.

honestly, why would you rhyme your child's name??

*edit: ok, so ppl have mentioned it's a Eastern European form of the name, i guess the z's AND s's threw me. lol and i wasn't dissin any of these names (well, ok, maybe Lilian Kilian lol) but i just found them ... intruiging to say the least*

Because Mommy/Daddy think it's clever? Personally I think it's cruel, but that exact name above isn't terrible.

Zuzanna is the Polish spelling, for what it's worth.

Rhyming names suck.

I've seen Zsuzsanna before... I think it's the Hungarian form of the name.

Lilian Kilian is ridiculous. What were they thinking?

I actually met a Christella once, I thought the name had been made up. I also thought it sounded like some kind of quiche.
