I really like the name Beck. I know people with the last name Beck and the singer named Beck, but the sound of Beck Cohen (I love Cohen by the way) is really nice!
Interesting... where I'm from, "Beck" is only known as a girls' name - I know it's not spelled Bec, but some Rebeccas spell it Beck and it will sound the same anyway. Beck isn't very feminine sounding but it's always used as a nickname for Rebecca. So I'm guessing that's different where you're from since you're considering it for a boy...
I like Beck, but unless the name Cohen has family significance to you, it's a bit... empty, I suppose. It's getting popular as a given name, but seeing as it's a surname indicating a Jewish family of Aaronic descent, it's a little weird to use as a given name, I think.
Kennedy is rather popular for girls in the U.S. right now, but I've never understood the appeal, as it means "ugly head." Seren is a pretty Welsh name, but it always sounds like "sarin" to my American ears!
Overall, I like Beck, and I like Seren all right, but there are a few problems with the others, IMO.
I like your boy's name, not too fond of Kennedy for a girl though--it sounda bit masculine to me. It does work well with Kade though, and on the whole, it's really not my style, but not too bad at all. Good luck!
I'd like both of your names if they were switched... I don't like "Beck", but I like "Cohen"... I hate "Kennedy", but I like "Serene". Congrats though :)!
I dont think id ever name my child Beck but Im not you and I dont think its too out there so it wont be awful or torturess for your child to have that name. I dont mind uncommon, unique names if the parents wish to name there kids that but I do put my foot down for crazy made up names.
I love Kennedy and I know a girl named Kennedy and shes adorable. and I dont really think its that popular.
Beck Cohen - I like Beck. I'm actually surprised that I do. I hate Cohen, though, it's WAY too surnamey. Kennedy Seren - Seren is really pretty, but I can't stand Kennedy.
Beck is a nickname for Rebecca. Cohen and Kennedy- which means "misshapen head"- are crappeigh surnames, which sound plain ridiculous given as personal names. Seren is beautiful.
