so i think i've come across the oldest person with a horrific and nauseating 'KREE-8-yve' spelled name ever:

DaLorris.  a 68 year old woman (born in 1940) that comes to our clinic. 

is this the oldest one anyone's come across in person? or is there older?  or, *gasp* was this just the beginning of the ugly trend?

Is she a black lady? I hope it's not racist to say that they can get away with names that would be thoroughly ridiculous on a white person. They just have different naming norms, I guess. I wouldn't look twice at a black DaLorris, particularly a 68-year-old, but a white DaLorris would totally make me cringe.
