I'm having alot of problems with Boy names, I've already chosen a name for a girl, Ayla Jane. (Jane after my Grandmother)

But a boy is just so hard.

I would like something different, something you don't hear often. Mine is Janee', pronounced like Renee (Ja-Nay).

So here we go.

Britain
Phoenix (Hey, they name kids Griffin!)
Gage
Keiran
Kai
Callum
Hayden
Seven
MacKenzie
Kaiden
Orion
Paris (After the guy that abducted Helen and took her to Troy, not the city or after the skank on tv)
Kyrian

If you can think of any middle names to go with any, I would appreciate it. I'm planning on giving the boy 3 middle names. One after my Grandfather, who always wanted a son, and got 2 girls. (Eugene) (It's the better of the 2 names he's got.. Ernest Eugene)

My Last name is Burke. (Irish, which explains some Irish boy names in there)

Thank you!

I have that problem too. I have one male name I like a lot and if I have a kid and the husband doesn't like it, I will have to replace him and not the name.

i'm going to be nannying for a boy named keiran..i really like it

also, kai has been on my favorites list for a long time.

callum is also an excellent name.

i would stay away from seven though. it's nms, but more than that i just imagine that could be a hard name for someone to grow up with.

Here's a few I thought flowed together...

Gage Ernest Michael Eugene Burke, Kieran Gage Ernest Eugene Burke, Kaiden Britain Ernest Eugene Burke, Britain Kai Ernest Eugene Burke :)

Congratulations and Good luck Sweetie!!!

It's nice if you say the two together, but Britain Burke is a little awkward sounding.

Why not Britton? Or do you like the spelling of Britain?

Kai is nice. So is Gage.

Seven sounds nice, but not for a human. Same with Phoenix (I work at a school with a kid named Phynix)...MacKenzie IS a boy's name, I know, but the girls have taken it over and the timing is bad on that, so he'll sit in classes with TONS of girls named Mykenzie and Makenzy or whatever else.

Paris isn't bad at all, but the skank ruined it.

Hayden isn't bad, just trendy. And Callum isn't bad but I like Calem...depending on how you pronounce Callum.

That's a nice name right there.

I know a boy named Keegan Mackenzie.

what on earth would a kid need 3 middle names for? most people don't even use the one they've got!

I *love* your name for a girl. For a boy, I like Gage, Keiran, Kai, Hayden, Orion, and Kyrian. Paris is cool, too, but I always associate that with girls; same with MacKenzie and Phoenix [I'm not a fan of Phoenix anyway, haha].

PS, I'm sure you've probably been told this, but if you give such a unique name as a fn, I'd DEFINITELY go with something more common and conventional as one of the mns, since you're having three anyway. Your kid might *love* being named Orion Seven Burke and not having anyone else with that name, but then again, he might just want to be a Matt or a Joe.

My boyfriend is "Kai Mitchell"
... I'm bias, Kai is an amazing and unique name for a boy, I'd go with that.
Oddly enough, "Ayla" is his favorite girls name... weird. "Ayla Jane" is beautiful.

Ayla Jane is SO PRETTY <3 love it.

Britain - awful
Phoenix - also awful, I live in AZ
Gage - eh okay but can't see it aging well
Keiran - very nice!
Kai - too short, not very masculine imo
Callum - nms but not bad
Hayden - awful
Seven - WHAT?! how about twelve? NO WAY.
MacKenzie - NO. I know it's a boy's name, but there are WAY too many girls named Mackenzie.
Kaiden - AWFUL.
Orion - no
Paris - again, too many girls have already taken it.
Kyrian - okay

Britain- oh no no no please no
Phoenix- not my style
Gage- not my style
Keiran- Prefer Cairan- Kye-ran not Kear-an & i prefer C's over K's but you could of course spell it Kairan.
Kai- seems too short, i'd use it as a nicnname for Kairan
Callum- LOVE
Hayden- like
Seven-LOVE
MacKenzie- Absolutely detest.
Kaiden- Caden :-) i like it
Orion- Like the constallation? love.
Paris (After the guy that abducted Helen and took her to Troy, not the city or after the skank on tv)- like a lot, because of Troy (i know a Paris Troy!!) but i dont think many people would get that connection?
Kyrian- hmmm i've never heard it before.

If you feel the need to justify names on your list when you post them, then you probably shouldn't use them. Besides, Griffin is a popular surname turned first name. I think The mythical creature is spelled Gryphon, anyway. The rest are ok except for Britain, Gage, Seven????! and Orion!!. Those seems sort of ridiculous. I like your historical connection with Paris, but unfortunately I have a hard time seeing it for a boy lately.

Hayden: OK
Seven: NO
MacKenzie: NO
Kaiden: the last thing this world needs is another -den name.
Orion: NO
Paris (After the guy that abducted Helen and took her to Troy, not the city or after the skank on tv): love it
Kyrian: NO
