I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant wtih baby #1. I can't think of a name for the life of me and it's frustrating. I don't know what names are popular right now, so those are definately names to avoid. And, I don't like "odd" names, either. All I know is that I want an 'S' name for a girl and a 'D' name for a boy.

Where are you from? You could find the list of top 100 names from 2005 for your country/area, to see what is popular at the moment.

It's also not too hard to find websites with lists of names starting with a certain letter.

I've done the websites so many times. I go through and I find names I like, but then, I always find a flaw, such as "will my child be made fun of??". lol I figure if someone can suggest it to me then it must be a some-what popular name and my kid will be less likely to be made fun of for the name. you know what I mean?
