Matching Initials

Here's the sibset of my mom's co-worker's grandchildren:

Carly
Emily
Caleb
Ethan
Cristen
Ella
Callaghan (f)
Elijah

I know the mother's name is Cassie, and but I can't remember the father's name.

What do you think of this sibset and of matchy sibsets in general? Personally, I think E is a tough letter to use (although they fared fairly well) and I can definitely think of a few better C names than Cristen and Callaghan.

They're all fine except Callaghan and Cristen. The alternating initial thing is pretty trite, though.

It's not quite as lame of a theme as using all of the same letter, but really really close. The names are all okay except for Callaghan on a girl-- that was out of left field.

I love E. I'd have no problem using Es.

I like: Emily, Caleb, Ethan, and Elijah. I love E names and could easily come up with 10 or so to use for my future children.

It could be worse. I mean, at least they aren't all the same letter and at least they are (mostly) acceptable names.

I don't particularly like matching sibsets but the amusing thing is that my sister and I accidentally made one for fictional characters:

Dorian
Elea
Darwin
Enya

Not only the first letters are the same, but the last are too, and the names have six letters for the boys, four letters for the girls. I swear we didn't do it on purpose.

I don't really like letter themes as a general rule. A main reason is because towards the end, it always seems like a stretch: Cristen and a female Callaghan? No thanks. I like all the E-names, though.
