Yes, I loved the name Cosette after seeing Les Mis when I was younger. Now that I'm married, though, I don't think it goes well with the last name.

Etta is really cute but I'm afraid of the way it would sound if I paired it with my son's name. He is Henry. For some reason, Henry and Etta sound a little like "Henrietta" which I despise. It's too bad, though... Etta is very pretty.

Yeah, it's sort of like how you get Polly from Mary, or Peggy from Margaret, if you were searching for an English equivalent. It's a nominative term of endearment, I guess you could say.
