A Romanian couple named their son Yahoo as a sign of gratitude for meeting over the internet, a Bucharest newspaper said Thursday.
"We named him Lucian Yahoo after my father and the net, the main beacon of my life," Cornelia Dragoman was quoted as saying.
At least it's not his first name so he could just always be Lucian Y. Dragoman and lie to people as to what the Y stands for...

Date: 2005-01-13 09:17 pm (UTC)I wanted to name a baby girl Kalstyn... a composite of the names Kassidy, Kelsi, and Kristyn... of country group SHeDAISY.
my friends all laughed and told me it sounded stupid. None of them think it's stupid that I want to name a baby after the girls of SHeDAISY. They just think that the name I came up with is ridiculous.
