I think I prefer the K spelling to the C spelling, but what do you think of the sound?

Well, I too prefer the K to the C, which I usually don't. I think I like it. I don't know if I would use it, but I know a Karl that makes me really like it.

I think the one guy I knew named Carl in high school spelled it Karl and he gained the nickname Crazy Karl.

I don't like this name, but as far as spelling goes... Carl, Karl, Carl, Karl, Carl... Ehhhhhhhh, I guess the 'K' spelling. Maybe. >_>

'Karl' always brings actor Karl Urban (Lord of the Rings) to mind.

I'm not fond of the name, but there are a few Karls in my ancestry. The K spelling may have Scandinavian roots, but obviously I'm not sure on that.
