How do you pronounce it? I've occasionally wondered how it should be pronounced - the only people I've met with this name are babies whose parents pronounce it "eel-eye", which I dislike.
I really like it. We considered using it on one of our sons. We were still stuck debating whether to just use the name Eli, or name him Elijah, and use the nn occasionally. I love that it is uncommon but not abnormal.
Love it. It's my husband's favorite name of all time - we plan to use it if we have more than one son, except we are going to use the name Elias, nn. Eli.
Not too fond of it, but Elliott is one of my favorite boy names... so I sort of like it with that pronunciation (elley, instead of eel-eye) though it sounds a bit girly :/
I LOVE it, either by itself or short for Elijah best. Elias is okay but I've heard so many people pronounce it wrong. I also think it works okay as a nn for Elliott, which is one of my favorite names.
