Niqhol

Friend of a friend. Nicole is a really common name here so she insists everyone use that spelling instead. I suppose that was her way to stand out...in a bad way. :/

When is saw it, it thought that it is the name of a drug.

She can't be a unique individual with a common name?

Ooh. She's gotta fabricate some individuality with a "super cool" name. :/

But don't you know that you're nothing without a unique name?? The name makes you who you are. *nods*

I can only e-magyn. You should show her how many people think she's retarded for doing this to herself and to others. XD

See, my issue with ~creative~ spellings is that...you're still giving your child (or yourself, in this case) the same name as everyone else. No matter how spell it, when it's said aloud, it's the same name.

And yeah, it looks like Nyquil.

That looks more masculine than feminine. Plus, it's a bad spelling all around.

That reminds me of my friend Jason, or, as he prefers, JaySen. We used to work together, and at his request, the manager started typing his name up like that on schedules. I also get texts from a mutual friend who sometimes mentions him, and he also spells his name this way. Sorry, dude. You'll always be Jason to me.

My brother-in-law insists on spelling his name Dayv. I can't cope with it, so I always write David on cards and things.

An acquaintance of mine spells his name Jake'b (oh yes, it's supposed to be Jacob). Ugh. :/

Well... at least it's not her given name... she still has time to grow up and come to her senses right?

And I thought spelling my name Nicholle for the sake of individuality was a little pretentious. Niqhol is just beyond ridiculous!
