Date: 2009-06-19 01:38 am (UTC)I'm surprised so many get a girl feel from Carson. Any name that ends in "son" feels masculine to me, although I'll admit that the frequent use of Addison and Madison on girls has made those feel female to me.

I have a female professor named Shawn (she's the first female Shawn I have ever met) and people often assume she's male when they see just her name.
