To note a few things; we are set on using two middle names, it is a tradition in my family. Marilyn & Jean are both family names and we are set on using those as well.

Also, I am thinking here, that in the event that we use any variations of the name listed above, possible nicknames would include Ada, Addie, AJ & MJ. Any other nicknames you can concoct, I would love to know them.

My grandmother's name was Ada so I think I'm biased towards seeing it as a full name rather than a nickname. I definitely prefer it that way, especially since you're using 2 middle names, and the second middle name is a longer name, Ada just by itself seems to balance out the length a little.

Ada or Adele. Adeline, Adelaide, Adela, and Adelina are too 'wordy' for me, if you know what I mean. With the two middle names, I'd go with something simpler and more understated. Ada would be my first choice, Adele my second.

I love love love the name Ada. It's short and sweet and it can be dressed up very nicely with several middle names without seeming "overdone."

I think Ada flows best with the 2 middle names. Plus, Ada is perfectly fine on it's own, I see it as a real name. Amy, Ava, Eva, and Mia are also short yet real names.

I think in this instance Ada works better than any of the other names you're considering. If you must go with a longer one I like Adelaide, I'm not fond of any of the others.

I like Ada best. If you did use Adelina / Adela / etc, you could also use Del or Della as a short form: but I thought the whole point was to use Ada?

I like Adeline best, but with Marilyn it sounds too clunky (because of the double -lin sound). So I voted for Ada! Adelaide is nice too, though, just a little too place namey for my taste (which is odd, because I do like Lourdes! ;))
