I like this letter theme that's going on...

I went to school with a girl who's brothers and herself were all J names. They are:

Jeremy
Jordan
Jackie
JJ
Jacob
Joshua

I think the Dugger family has used all the J names possible.

Joshua
Jana
John-David
Jill
Jessa
Jinger
Joseph
Josiah
Joy-Anna
Jedidiah
Jeremiah
Jason
James
Justin
Jackson
Johannah
Jennifer
Jordyn

Interestingly, none of their children are named Jacob!

When thinking of names for my own kids, I like a few different names that happen to start with the same letter... but the more kids that have the same initial in a family, the less I like it. Especially in some cases where people run out of real names and start making stuff up, like the Q names posted earlier.

Of these I like:
Jeremy
Jacob
Joshua

I went to school with twins named Jeremy and Jason. They had an older sister named Jessica and a younger sister named Jaime.

My boyfriends sister Jessica married a guy names John and they named their son Jacob.

I have cousins (brothers) named Joshua and Jason, but they're the only two kids so it works, lol.

all of these people were born between 1955 - 1969... except for Suzanne who was born in 1980... she was an oops. I am not sure about this but it seems like it was a trend in not only my family but others during this time - some of my friends have the same letter theme going on with their families.

- my dad's family is Joseph, James, Jeffery, Julia, and Jay. My grandpa is Jerome (Jerry) and his brothers were Joshua and Joseph. (the only reason my uncle Jay is named Jay is because my grandma wanted to call him Gregory and my dad and his siblings were mad that he wouldn't have a "J" name so when my grandpa went to fill out the birth certificate he filled out Jay Gregory because he couldn't think of a "J" name...
- my dad's one set of cousins are Kendra, Kyle, Kevin, Kira, Katherine, Keith, Kenny, and Kim.
- his other set of cousins are Larry, Lisa, Leah, William (Liam), and Leslie.
- and disgustingly another set of his cousins are Stephen, Sandra, Sally, Sara, and Suzanne.

I'd rather have initials match then first names... my parents went to school with a family of:

Mary Beth
Mary Pat
Mary Sue
Mary Jane
Joseph Patrick
Joseph Brian
Joseph Jacob

They all went by their middle names, but still....

My God, there was actually a Mary Sue??? LOL!

One of my friends knew a very Catholic family who did the same thing--they had 6 or 7 girls, and all of them had the first name Mary with different middle names. They all went by their full names too: Mary Jane, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Margaret, and so on

I'm Katie (Kathleen). My brother is Kevin. My maiden name also started with a K. Our parents admitted to doing it on purpose. Good thing my dad didn't give my brother the middle name Keith like he planned on doing...
