[identity profile] meeksnmeebs.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Found out I'm due in January, so I have plenty of time to mull it over, think on them and completely change my mind but...
Girl:
Emmaline Grace (possibly Emmeline or a slight variation, not positive on that)

Boy:
Logan Zachary (again, not sure how I want to spell Zachary)

I like names that are more... different, but not crazy way out there wtf type names. Also has to work with our less than normal last name: Juskevice

Also, I really really really like the name Alexander or any Alex name, but I'm not sure how my husband would feel about naming our baby that as it's also the name of the guy I dated before deciding to marry my husband, AND my roommate from last year just named her son Jonathan Alexander (Dell'Aquila, I know the poor child).

Suggestions, thoughts, comments? All welcome :)

Emmaline/Emmeline is a great name... I'm not such a fan of Logan, though.

Congratulations! I LOVE Emmeline, and Emmaline or Emeline are fine by me too. Are you pronouncing the end with a long i or a long e sound? I like it either way. Grace is such a sweet name, but I think it is overdone in the middle name slot these days. The boy's name is fine enough, but I don't like either name, sorry.

I have a girlfriend named Alessandra who goes by Alex ... might be a less offensive option for an Alex-type name if you have a girl.

Emeline (spelled this way) is one of my favorite names. I don't care for alternate spellings, but of the ones you have I'd personally go with Emmeline. Emmaline looks made-up to me. I also like Ameline, which is the original spelling.

Grace, Alexander, and Logan Zachary (spelled this way!) are ho-hum, quite boring. Nice, but boring.

Different, but Not WTF:

I always liked the names Alexi or Alexis for a boy. (9.9)

I like Logan, and Emmaline, not crazy about Zachary, I don't care for the letter y for some reason.

I like Alexi(s) for a boy too, but that's because it's not a girl name in French. Otherwise I would probably think it's weird (I do think it's rather weird for a girl, although I don't dislike it).

I LOOOOOVE Emmaline Grace! :D

Not a fan of Logan, though. Sounds like something from a boy band.
