spelling of name
Jun. 7th, 2009 04:19 pmso I am 37 wks pregnant with my third child and first daughter. My husband is the worst female name picker in the world. He hates everything. We named our boys very easily (Morgan is 4 and judah is 2) but this time took till about a week ago. I had proposed at least 15 names that he shot down and FINALLY he decided that he now loved a name I had picked from before I found out my second son was a boy and he hated it then. Needless to say I am so thankful this child has a name. at least a first name haha (all our children have 2 middle names but I will face that when the time comes)
we both agreed on the first name rosalind pronounced RAHZ-UH-LYNN I like this spelling but I hate it pronounced in any way shape or form like rose or rosey. I am against creative spelling and don't plan on doing it but the variations of rozalyn and rosalyn are very common and have been used for a couple hundred years so I am feeling rather safe. I just can't decide which I like best. so if yall would lend me you opinion I would be greatful.
rosalind, rosalyn, or rozalyn?
