I recently went to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. I don't know how many of you know this, but when you go in they give you a little booklet/passport thing that has the story of someone involved in the Holocaust.

My person's name was Erzsebet.

WDYT?

I think I would like it as Ersabet, maybe. Erisabet just sounds too odd to say.

Hey, I was there on Saturday! I like Erzsebet, just spelled differently.

I think it's kind of lovely, actually.

I really like it. A lot. I'd never actually use it, because it would probably just be easier where I live (and in a lot of places) to use Elizabeth, which I don't like, but I've liked it for a few years.

It's nice, but not my style. Considering the time period though, it would probably not have been that unusual.

I was there when I was 16. I know I have the booklet somewhere at home, but it's too long since I was there to remember what the name was :)
