My brother and his girlfriend are (as of now, if they dont find something they like better) naming their little girl, who's due in September Julia Mina (pronounced me-nuh). I think it's cute. Not huge on the middle name, but it's after her grandmother, so I like that idea. Their other little girl is Lilliana Rae - Lillian was the name of my grandmother - so I think it's fitting.

So, their kids will be Dominick Anthony, Lilliana Rae and Julia Mina.

I think they sound nice together, without being cutesy and matchy and making one want to gag. ;) Just wanted to post with that. Because I'm SO HAPPY she got out of her "I wanna have a baby girl and name her Nevaeh" phase!

it's not something I would pick, but I think it's pretty, and classic, and goes with the other names. And it SURE beats all the other stuff she was tossing around.

I'd never heard Mina until she said she was going to use it. And Julia isn't something I'd have picked, but I think it's pretty and classy.

I think they've chosen very nice names, and I love when names have special meaning to the family, so I love them even more. I have to tell you, when I first read your post I missed the "are" and read it as "my brother and his girlfriend (for now, if they don't find something they like better)..." and I was worried that they were having a child if their relationship was so unsure! Haha.

HAHAHA! I totally thought the same thing! I was like "well, great, they're going to have three kids and they're just, you know, fooling around or something?" Glad that's not the case!

Anyway, yeah, I think Julia is a really nice name. I'm not sure I would put it with Mina, but it's fine. Certainly much better than Nevaeh - but what isn't? And I agree that it's a family of children with pretty names!

PRETTY. I'm falling madly in love with the name Julia. Finally getting over the Julia Roberts connotation! And I secretly love Julie, too. Anyway, really pretty names, and they go together REALLY well. Nice choices. And congratulations!

I love the girls' names. They're adorable and go well together. I'm not a huge fan of the boys name, but it fits. :)

Yeah, Dominick's also not a name I'd use, but he's name for my brother, his father. My brother is Michael Anthony, and his confirmation name (we're Catholic) is Dominic. So, the mom, despite all her other shortcomings, was nice enough to give him a name that meant something. :-P (his mom is not the same mom the girls have. My brother's ex-girlfriend is his mom, but he lives with my brother and his current girlfriend who, though I sometimes hate to admit it, has been like a mom to him). lol, more than you needed to know. :-P

they only call Lilliana "Lily" though, so it's really Dominick, Lily and Julia. :)

Julia is really pretty and I love Lilliana, cause my 6 yr old niece is Liliana :) Dominick is cute, too! They picked really nice names!

I like it a lot! Much better than Nevaeh if that what was she was thinking of before. Julia is a pretty, classic name. Mina sounds a little cutesy with it, but it's got meaning so whatever.

Yeah. And I don't know if they picked Julia because it sounded good with Mina or what. I think it was just the first name they could agree on that work with the other kids' names and that people didn't laugh at them for. :P
