i just saw someone wit a baby named Zeke. i don't know that i really like it it's like just BAM straight to the point. lol idk. it's not a bad name. i guess just not my style. WDYT?

theres a character in Neighbours called Zeke, at first i couldn't stand it but its really grown on me, I'd even consider using it.

It's usually short for Ezekiel (spelling?). We have a large Amish population here and I've seen it. Kind of odd choice. Definitely not my style either! I tend to think of either Amish or hillbillies. =)

Here (in Australia) I have heard Zeke a number of times. I think it's a really cool name. I personally love it. I would make it shot for Ezekiel.

I don't like it, to me it sounds very juvenile. As a nickname for Ezekiel it's fine, but not as a name on its own.

There's a character in Ann M. Martin's California Diaries (spin-off of The Baby-Sitter's Club) named Zeke. I think he was Maggie's younger brother.

That name gives me the heebiest of jeebies. I used to watch this show called "Salute Your Shorts" when I was a kid, and one episode featured a supernatural campfire horror story villain called Zeke the Plumber. He sneaked into kids' tents at night and sucked their souls out through their faces with a plunger. I'm almost 25, and I STILL shudder every time I hear that name. XD
