Not terrible, but I wouldn't use it. I prefer it spelled Blair.

I know a few Blairs. There's also Blair Warner from The Facts of Life and Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl.

The more I say it, the more it sounds like "blah" to me.

I love the name Blair. It makes me think of Blair from Gossip Girl, who I think is fabulous.

I might be in the minority, but it strikes me as a boys name, even though almost all the Blaire's or Blairs I've heard of/known have been girls.

Yikes, that is one name I just really don't like. All I can think of are rich snobby girls with bratty attitudes and The Blair Witch. Not a good combo.

I agree--it reminds me of all the references above, as well as the word, as in "blaring music". I like the overall sound of it, though, and like another commenter, much prefer Claire.

I have a bad association with it due to the porn star Blair Segal and some fights my bf and I have had over that...

I think it sounds like a fat girl's name. I know, weird impression, but that's automatically what I thought of when I saw the name.

It's okay spelled that way, but I much prefer the spelling Blair, which is one of my favorite names.
