(no subject)

Hello! I'm new here and due to have my baby Oct 13th (friday the 13th haha). We have no idea what we are having (they dont tell you where i live) so we need to pick out boys and girls names. I find it so much easier to come up with boys names rather than girls. For a girl i would like to use the name Anna, after my grandmother. I am having a hard time finding something to go with it..I know it should be easy since it is simple but i really have no idea! What do you guys think would go well with "Anna" either as a middle or first! thanks!:)

Anna Claire
Anna Kate
Anna Bliss

I think names with one syllable go best as a middle name

What is the rhythm of the baby's surname - how many syllables, and which syllable is stressed?

Anna Peach would sound beautiful with a middle name that is either:

- three syllables stressed on the first syllable. For instance, Anna Isabel Peach

- four syllables stressed on the second syllable. For instance, Anna Olivia Peach

dont stress!!! middle names are hardly ever used anymore so if there is something that is another family name it might be nice to use. Your using your grandmothers first name how about his grandmothers or mothers middle name.. also maiden names work well as middle names, as long as they arent too out there. Its nice to do the family name thing ecspecially with middle names because they are hardly ever used!

Also once you see him/her for the first time youll come up with something that fits him/her :)

My mom is Anna Maria. I really like that. I like Long middle names since they are very rarely written it's never a problem. Plus with a 1 syllable last name, you can get away with it.

Anna Maria
Anna Mackenzie
Anna Melissa
Anna Madeline
Anna Katherine
Anna Brielle
Anna Corrine (I also really like this!)

BTW, Anna Peach is ADORABLE!!!!!!

Congratulations on your baby! A close friend of mine also gave birth to her son on a Friday the 13th - it was actually the same Friday the 13th in August when a huuuuuuge hurricane struck our Central Fla. area, and she was in the hospital giving birth right when the eye was passing over the hospital! Crazy, huh?? hehe anyway, just thought I'd share with you ;)

I see that your name is Jenna Rae...

Why not "Anna Rae"? It's beautiful and not only honours your grandmother, but also your baby's momma <3

The most common middle name for Anna is Marie (trust me, it's my name, and people who I don't even know immediately call me Anna Marie). I don't think it would be copying even if your sister-in-law used it, middle names are usually fairly common and used often.

My namesake was Anna Lou. Anna Lou Peach sounds cute, in my opinion. :D

Congratulations and good luck. :)

I think Anna would make a really great middle name. You probably need to find a name that doesn't end in an "A" sound. Or you could find a name that had Anna in it. Like Annalie, Annabel, Anastasia, Annalise. My personal fave name is Ivy Annabel. Some Ideas:
Annabel Grace
Aurora Annabel
Sophie Anna
Lily Anastasia
Anna May
Anna Louise
Annalie Robin
Jamie Anna
Annalise Eve

Anna is beautful, classic & underused.
I'd be tempted to use Anna Belle. (because i do so love anabelle!)

Anna Marissa
Anna Felicity
Anna Gabrielle
Anna Juliet

(just dont use Anna Nicole :-p)

I think Marie is a foolproof middle name, especially with something as sweet and common as Anna.

My husband was a Friday the 13th baby (and his mother named him Jason...)

I like Anna Marie, but I know its way overused. Anna Grace is another I like.

I wish I lived somewhere that didn't tell the sex!
