Sonia is how it's spelled in Italy (and I don't think much anywhere else)

I prefer the standard spellings, however, there will always be the s-oh-nya v s-ah-nya pronunciation issue with the name.

I don't like it, but I don't know why. I've just never liked it. It's not a terrible name though. If I met a girl named Sonia, I wouldn't think "ew what a horrible name."
