Hi everyone, I'm Mary. I'm 19 and I have no kids, but want to someday. I really like looking up baby names and their meanings, especially unique ones since my name is so dull. I've been reading many of the entries of this community for a while, so I figured I'd join too.

Some of my favorite girls names:

Emily, Angela, Brianna, Brielle, Christiana, Adrielle, Abalyn, Devin

Boys names:

Derek, Ryan, Adrian

I'm not as interested in boys names for some reason, I guess I tend to be indifferent towards most of them. I'm more strongly opinionated on girls names it seems.

Thank you! my boyfriend thinks Adrielle and Brielle are too unusual, oh well.

Brielle is French and means "exalted goddess" (I love that meaning!)

I couldn't find the meaning of Adrielle, but I knew a girl with the name and thought it was pretty and unusual.

There's a girl who works in the Kitchen where I work named Brielle. I love that name. Everyone calls her Bree.

i love brielle and christiana. adrielle is pretty too. i knew a girl named andrielle in high school, which i always thought was nice.

thanks! I was named after my aunt, and she was named after my great-grandmother. I still view it as an old ladies name, and of course the nursery rhymes "Mary had a little lamb" and "Mary quite contrary" don't really help....try explaining to a bunch of kids that you don't have a lamb! lol

Oh cool, thanks! the first time I saw the name Brielle, I was in New Jersey with my family and Brielle was the name of a town nearby. Maybe the town is on a hill? I don't know, but I thought the name was pretty!

yeah i was looking up irish anmes for my friend and found it there... i like the french meaning better but maybe it was one and then became adapted by the toher ... hmmm..
