May. 23rd, 2006 09:19 pmGeri Halliwell, of Spice Girls fame, has named her daughter Bluebell Madonna.
I actually think bluebell is rather sweet, of course Geri wasn't going to setting for a plain Jane name, and as far as celeb names can go when they want to be wacky, this is very tame.
It's just another flower name... but a rather unique one, & bluebells are so pretty...
I can imagine a baby blue or a baby bell. Won't sit well on an adult but i guess the names become part of the person as they get older.
Madonna is horrible middle name though, IMO. Maybe crazed fans of the popstar would appreciate it, or religious fanatics but as i'm neither it just brings up images of a woman with pointy bras & the vigin Mary, which leads to crucifixes, which i find utterly terrifying!!
If you believe what you read in magazines then the father has been frozen out & wont be a part of her life, so maybe she'll go by Bluebell Halliwell, which is too rhyming & sounds weird.
