Okay, I seriously feel like I'm overusing this community, but I have one more quick question.

What do we think of Éloise? Ay-low-ees. It's the French version of Eloise, which I've loved for ages. I'm normally not a huge fan of French names, but I'm positively adoring this one. What do you think? Is it too much of a mouthful?

A bit much for a baby. Sweet on a younger child. Good for teenager. Distinguished yet nice for an adult. It's not my style, but I think it's nice.

My half sister named her daughter Eluisa (the spanish for of Eloise) and at first I thought it was too much for a baby, but now that she's 5 years old, I wouldn't think of a more fitting name for her. :) I love it!

I don't think it's a bit much for a baby-- I think it's a great name for all ages, actually!

I'd trip all over myself trying to pronounce it properly, but that's 100% just me. It's a pretty name.

I usually don't like French names, and I much prefer Eloise and Eluisa. It IS pretty though.

I like it better without the accent, which I find pretentious. In my opinion, ELL-owe-ees is better than the "A" sound made by the accent.

It's a bit of a mouthful, but only for a baby. And they're only babies for so long, so I think it's nice :)

Love it, but i do think accents at the beginning or middle of the names sound silly, unless you have the appropriate (voice) accent. Take Amélie.. It's not emily with an A, it's Am-ay-lee but try telling that to people with regional accents! I don't know.. perhaps i'm being a tad snobbish but beautiful foreign names are ruined when they arent pronounced correctly.

I like "Elle-lo-ees." Not sure about the French version.

How is Eloise (non-french name) pronounced?
