A girl I went to high school with that I sometimes associate with [we have a few mutual friends and are friended on myspace, too] had her first child a few weeks ago. It is a little girl named Macie Jo. I kind of like it for the baby girl, but I think I would have a hard time taking an adult named Macie seriously.

Macie isn't great on an adult, but she'll have options - MJ, May, Jo.

I actually don't have a difficult time seeing it on an adult...if the whole name were used together. I think "Macie" by itself is a bit more difficult. But I can see "Macie Jo" on some fun, funky older lady. :o)

I also think it's ridiculously cute on a little girl.
