Middle name suggestions for Eve? The boyfriend and I love it but we've come to realize that it might not have much potential as a first name because we can't find anything to pair with it.

Edit: To get a sense of our style, some of our favorite girl's names are Isadora, Claire, Leah, Juliet, and Shiloh =)

It depends on the style of middle name you're going for...

For some reason, the first thing that popped up in my head was Eve Lorraine. I think any two-syllable name with the stress on the second syllable would sound good... I keep thinking Eve Michelle, but Michelle is a pretty out-dated name, unless you like it.

Eve Corinne
Eve Renee
Eve Lucille
Eve Denae/Denee
Eve Celeste
Eve Camille
Eve Kathleen

Lorraine was the first name to come to my mind, too. Weird. I don't even really like that name...

To the OP: 2-syllable French girl's names tend to have this stress pattern, which might help if you try to do a search on one of the sites like babynames.com

I actually think Eve Isadora sounds really nice. Anything ending with that sound would work well.

Try a three syllable middle name

Eve Cassandra
Eve Evangeline
Eve Christina

It just can't be two short names.

I actually think a three syllable name sounds better than a two syllable one.

I really like Eve Juliet.

I also thought of:
Eve Abigail
Eve Cecilia
Eve Matilda
Eve Somerset

I've always like Eve Aurelia! (Although a lot of people hate the vowel-vowel thing.) I also really like Eve Josephine.

Maybe:

Eve Sylvia
Eve Mathilde
Eve Naomi
Eve Cecelia/Cecily
Eve Sybil(le)
Eve Colette
Eve Eleanor(a)

Eve is one of my favorite names, but I agree it can be hard to pair. That's probably why I always end up using it as a middle name. :)

the first i thought of was: adeline (line pronounced like "line" at the end, not "leen").

Eve Isobel
Eve Ophelia
Eve Juliet

(but if you love isadora, i think it goes beautifully too! I love the name Eve, it's classic, strong, but feminine)
