a baby name to ponder

So a girl I'm friends with is having a baby boy in May.
I found out today that the name she's planning to use is Kai Anthony.

i agree that kai sounds incomplete. it's weird to me because the parents are super caucasian. i know names can transcend ethnicity, but i can only see it on either a hippie/surfer's baby (which they definitely are NOT) or a hawaiian.
