What do you think of Juliet? Are there any other forms of Julie that you think sound better?

I rather just prefer Julia, but I'm a sucker for tradition. Every other generation in my family, the name Julie is used but changed. My mother is Julia, after her grandfather Julius, so I don't want to just reuse Julia. I like Julian, but I already have a name picked out that I love for if I'm having a boy.

Any thoughts?

I really like Julia, Juliet and Julian, but I dislike all others.
I think in your case Juliet could work great, as for not re-using Julia or Julie.

I went to college with a Jula. That's right, no 'I' in the name. It was pronounced just like it looks: Joo-lah. Perhaps that could be an option?

Juliet goes back and forth from being my first or second favorite girl's name. I just think its so beautiful, and works equally well for girly girls or tomboys.

I really love the name Juliet I think that it is very sweet. you mentioned liking the name Julian but you already have a boys name, I knew a girl named Julian (after her grandfather who died the day before she was born) and we all called her Jules, so if you really like the name you can always find ways to use it.
