I came across this sib-set in the paper, and I thought you all would get a kick out of it.

The last name? "Sowle", which I'm guessing is pronounced like "soul".

At first glance, it seems horrible, but when you realize that they could be known as "Maggie", "Val" and "Jen/Gen"... it's not so bad...

I wouldn't have guessed that they were all girls. Sure, they're all pretty bad names, but Magnificent and Valiant seem masculine to me. I actually don't know if I dislike Gentle.

I actually really like it. They have unique names, but can go by common names if they wish.

When I first read the first name I saw it as Maleficent (as in the villain from Sleeping Beauty), I was absolutely stunned, and then I re-read it. And yet, I'm still absolutely stunned.

I'm not sure I could ever say 'hi, I'm Magnificent'. I can't even say 'Hi, I'm Steve' without adding 'like the boys name', after 22 years of being called that.
