i never saw this mentioned here, i apologize if it was, but twin girls born to rebecca romijn and jerry o'connell a couple of months ago...

dolly rebecca rose & charlie tamara tulip

i like tulip as a middle name, but i am all for unusual middles. and i like rose, of course, but thats it.

your thoughts?

I personally hate them both. The combos are horrible, I hate three names for girls, and dolly sounds like a cow. Tulip is bizarre. About the only one of the six I can even say I like is Rebecca.

Yep, I hate them both too. For some reason I just really hate the name Tamara... I guess because all the trashy girls in my school seemed to all have this name, weird.

I really hate just plain Charlie on a girl. Dolly is awful as well.

I saw an interview where she said Dolly was named after Dolly Parton, and Charlie is named after Jerry's brother.
Uhh, yeah. =\

I think I'm the only one who likes them. Especially Dolly, I love Dolly Parton. I kinda agree that Tamara is usually the name of trashy girls, I've known my fair share.

Dolly and Charlie seem more like nicknames than full names to me. Rebecca and Rose aren't bad. I like Tamara, it reminds me of the author Tamara Pierce.

The only other time I've ever heard Tulip used as a name was in the great book The Tulip Touch by Anne Fine where the character of Tulip is abused by her father and is unstable, manipulative, a bad influence and an arsonist. Not a great namesake.

Rebecca and Tamara are waaaay nicer than Dolly and Charlie - I hope they go by them instead.
